Then they saw them. In the corner of the Giant Home Shop were lots and lots of Beautiful Wooden Curtain Poles. One was so big it reminded Betty of a tree she once knew.

“Yes!!!” said Betty, “get the measurements out Melly.”

“3 foot!” Melly exclaimed.

“Oh dear,” said Betty, “the shortest is 10 foot.”

“What are we going to do?” sobbed Melly.

Betty licked her eyebrow and thought.

Melly giggled.
